Sun Sets on Beach Chairs
After 5 o'clock, the paying loungers lose the cushions and umbrellas for the day, freeing up the chairs for the opportunitsts like us to appreciate the sunsets.

On the Day One ....
After 5 o'clock, the paying loungers lose the cushions and umbrellas for the day, freeing up the chairs for the opportunitsts like us to appreciate the sunsets.
We arrived in mid afternoon on Saturday, too late for midday sun, but just right for grabbing the recently vacated rental chairs for a spectacular sunset! Nothing like good timing, no?
On the ride down, we stopped outside of The 'Ham to make a pit stop and gas up the car.
Stopped at a Flying J Truck Stop, where the Eldest Girlchild and her incorrigible father had conspired to surprise me with her presence on the trip!
After all, she had informed me she absolutely could NOT come to the Gulf with us and had to work all weekend.

So when accosted from behind in the Truck Stop Lady's RestRoom
I was completely caught off guard (doped up on Dramamine, no less)!
Lucky for her I wasn't able to employ my
lightning quick reflexes and stealthy martial arts moves
on her ass because of the meds.
Otherwise, I would have whupped up on her - sneaking up on somebody in a truck stop bathroom ~ NOT the best idea, ever!
Cool, though, that we got to enjoy her company for a day and a half. :)
