My motherboard died this afternoon.
I am limited in my capacity to do what I need to,
so in a roundabout way, I guess fate cleared my plate enough
to be able to post.
This is the household laptop and a very small lil keyboard indeed!
The humor in the nickname of "barometer woman"
(bestowed upon me by those who I call friends)
as a superhero personality is not lost on me.
You really CAN gauge the humidity level by the sheer height of my hair...
though how this helps me be a superhero is beyond my understanding!
But today, the cape was kept in the trunk,
as humidity remained tolerable and even downright comfortable.
And so it was that I found myself cruising with the air rushing through my hair and through the car...
I had the iPod tuned into some really
"kick ass new music that was rockin my head" :).
Its the simple things, really.
The little things that put that smile on my face these days.
Little bit of sun on my face, some new music pulsing through my stereo, lyrics lacing their way through the static of my thoughts,
feeling the wind in my face.
Felt ALIVE in that moment.
As though everything stopped for half a heartbeat,
and seeing a path through the hole punched in time,
I acknowledged it with a half-grin,
head keeping time to the beat...
Kinda cool, these little epiphanies. Keep me movin forward....
Finding the humor and awe in the day...
